Eco printing

A technique specially designed for getting prints with plants that are rich in tannin and the leaves and plant material that are pigment sources. This is going to be a hands on workshop where we will learn different recipes to mordant the fabric, explore techniques to create certain effects, folding and bundling methods. Will get into a little detail about the properties and chemical reactions that happen on fabric, plant material and when both come in contact, which will help in further experimentation, to understand what to expect from each bundle. Definitely there’s going to be some surprise elements, will share and discuss about the mistakes to avoid.
